Our lego Robotics

Our last class using robotics was really fun. We had to show to an audience what our robot could do and our robot could use a light sensor to follow a black line. To make this assignment possible we had to work hard. My group members were very cooperative and collaborated very well. it took us about 3 weeks working only two day a week to finish this robot. Putting such small pieces together is something really interesting to do because it improves your knowledge. This assignment was very simple and again, it was very fun. Our teacher Kimberly Doey tried to make us a little bit more familiar in programming robots and it was really helpful, because in the future, if we will be programming robots we can use that as an example. Below this paragraph , there is the picture of our robot and my group members.

In chapters 5-9 what mostly happens to janie is that she gets more and moe into people's dreams without wanting. One day, she goes to a friends house to play truth or dare. As always she chooses dare and does what they tell her to do. When they are done playing, someone that was really close to her fals asleep and suddenly she drops on the floor and get to her dream. What she sees in many people kissing at a s** party. She is already paralized because she doesn't really like these things at all. She also realizes one of her classmates doing it with someone that Janie always knew she liked but no one knew. Since Janie knows a lot about that person's dreams, she keeps these thingsto her self not to make any rumors spread around the school. There is a clinic sigh-up and janie decides to go there. She says that she can probably get into patient freams and try to understand what is their fear or problems and to help them in many different ways. Janie never thought of something like that and when she did she realizes that she could get paid more. Finally it's the sound of glory!! janie gets accepetd and she begins a better life with her future husband.

In wake ch 3 what basically happens is that janie goes to school for her senoir year. She is glad of going to school and impatient of what subject she will have. She goes to school in her own car and it's shift. On her way there, she sees someone familiar but does not know who he is. When she gets closer, she realizes that it was Cabel a student familiar to her. He changed a lot. he did not have any skateboard in his hands for the three miles to school every day. She gives him a ride to school and they talk about their schedules. when they get to school, most people think that Cabel is a new student butbher isn't. when they get to class, cabel sleeps and Janie gets in his dreams without wanting. when she gets there, she sees Cabel touching her and kissing and then the dream automitically switches. Janie sees cabel getting beaten by someone but she can't do anything. Suddenly he becomes a monster and beats up the other guy. When janie tries to understand more about what is happening the bell rings and everything goes back to normal. janie tries to have a closer realtionship with cabel to understand more about him and his dreams and she also is goung to fall in love with cabel!!

Different types of robotics

A robot is a mechanical device that makes work easier for humans.

Medical robots: these types of work are used in medicine and they play a very good role in helping doctors and patients. For example when people have to take a therapy after fracturing their legs, there is a specific robot that can help them do at a normal paste of rehab, and this robot has been programmed for a certain amount of time to do that.  

 Military robots: these types of robots that are used in military give a better mission to soldier’s lives, and also give result without being in the place. An example of that can be like dropping a self controlled armed robot that looks around for what he is programmed for, and that is very good at hiding without being seen. After collecting information, robot goes back to the base and if it is seen, there will be an automatic self-destruction.

     Industrial robots: these types of robots are mostly used in car factories. They do work in a more precise way then the humans do. For example, if humans were putting the front window of the car, they would not know what exact place should they put but since the robots use laser lights then can know exactly where to place the window.

 Domestic robots: These types of robots are the ones that help humans in their homes. For example a woman has five kids and she is the only one to take care of them, the robot is like an assistant that is constantly here to follow her orders until the job is done. Some domestic robots are also used to be a company to humans, and they are programmed to understand human feelings by showing an impression on the screen even if in reality they don’t have feelings.

 Entertainment robots: these types of robots are just used as toys for kids. When they are alone they can just play with their robot. This type of robots is controlled using a remote controller. They are mostly made for kids and they are about 99% inoffensive so they is absolutely no risks of injuries but if the device is broken and opened the pieces might affect these kids. As shown in the picture below, these robots seem very friendly. 

 Exploratory robots: these types of robots might seem a little bit like the ones used in military but they are not. These robots are equipped with solar panels, flash lights, wheels that can go through extreme climate conditions, and a memory card that is plasticized. The way these machines work is by going around and collecting information, then when they are done they go back to the labs and the scientists look at these information  These types of robots are self-controlled but they are not armed.







      

2nd class learning about robotics

Today in robotic class we learned about the different things ways they replaced humans. An example of a replacement is by doing dirty work such as cleaning sewage. etc.. Robots can also play a major role in military supplies. I was watching a video in class and i saw that they invented a robotic bird. If an army is trying to reper other troops, they can send that bird with a camera under it, and since it is very realistic, they would think that it"s just a bird. 

 

My first class learning about robotics

My fist class about leaning about robotics was very fun. I learned that i could many things with them just by using Lego pieces. Robotics are supposed to be machines that can help humans work, buy they can also be friends. For example, you can program a robot so that he could be very good at chess. By doing that, you an improve the way you play by playing with an opponent that knows how you play. This opponent is yourself actually. Robotic class is very fun and full of surprises, so i you have robotic classes at your school i advise you to take them.

In chapter two, what basically happens is that Janie, the main character deicides to go at a party with her friends. She doesn"t have a dress and askes Carrie, her best friend to borrow one to her. When they get at the party, Carrie starts to dance and have fun while Janie sits near the bar to drink juice because it's her first time at a party and she does not know how to behave. A boy comes up to her and askes her to dance. Janie accepts firmly. As they dance, suddenly the boy puts is head on her chest and grabs her posteroir. Janie reacts at the same time and leaves the party. It was the first time that something like that happened to her. Then she decided to go back at home on heels. On her way she met people that became her friends.

How Technology Can Affect Your Lives

Technology is something that becomes more and more common in our world. There is something that i wanted to talk about in this article is that in the future, we can use robotics to do work for us. Today in the world, there are already many different types of robots especially in car industry. There are also robots that a useful in military just like the drone shown below. Many people in the world think that technology is a bad influence because many people don't have jobs and that's true. But this type of technology used in military does not take the place of any humans. In China, there are many robots that are already created for human needs and they can control with a phone using Lego materials such as plastic. It might seem unbelievable but it's true!! This kind of robot can be programmed to take pictures, turn on a TV by distance,pick up things turn lights on and off, etc... Having a robot like that in a home of elders is really useful because they cannot do things by themselves and sometimes, there is no one that wants to come and help them because they have to go to work. Basically technology can really affect humans lives by helping them.

   

Summary Of Chapter One In "WAKE"

So in the book that i'm reading  there is a girl called Janie and what she can do is get into other people's dreams without them knowing. One day, she goes to the house of a new friend and there she meets another student that's been teasing her of being white trash,Melinda. When the night falls, she gets into Melinda's dreams without wanting and she sees her kissing with another student of the class. What Janie is trying to clear up is that does Melinda really loves this boy??? That could be one of her secrets that she never told to no one and now Janie knows about it... DREAMS!!!!!!

RESPECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When people aren't good at something, for example in school they have a talent in something else. Some people have problems to study, but they are excellent basketball players, or singers, or dancers, etc... So you should respect your peers because now you annoy them, but in the future they might have way more success in life then you so at least some respect. They will be coming out their cars being superstars and you will be astonished  so try to be respectful to your peers and stop thinking that you are the best because in the future, they are going to be rising with swagger!!!!!

 This is the book that i will be reading his quarter for my English class, it is about sharing dreams and it is very interesting. I hope that you guys will want to read it.

How to shoot a basketball!!

Basketball is a really fun game and the goal of each team is to score baskets, so i am going to teach you how to shoot a basketball perfectly. 

1. bend your knees when you shoot a basketball 

2.aim for the back of the rim, slightly over the front

3.always have a perfect arc 

4.leave you hand in the air for the ball to keep it's direction

What is basketball

Basketball is a game that people play with their hands. Basketball has many different rules. The fundamental ones are:
1, not bounce the ball twice after holding it without bouncing
2. not run with the ball without bouncing
3.not jump in the air with the ball twice without bouncing
4. not step out of the court with the ball in the hands, etc..
 Basketball is a really fun game and it cares a lot for children.  In the NBA (national basketball association) when there is the weekend all-stars, some money go to charities for children. The NBA can give about $350,000 to charities.

Basketball is not only about money. Many basketball players are part of the most known people in the world. Basketball is part of video games, lifestyle, etc... Basketball is a fun game and i think that many people should play it. Basketball makes people tall, athletic, and fast. It also improves their accuracy of trowing which is the basic of basketball

Basketball is part of the top five most played games in the world. For people that never played basketball, i advise you to try to because it's a really fun game. And don't forget warm up all the time before you play.
